Ishizaki-San is really good artist with a lot of experience in different aspects of animation production.
This 247-page softcover is a good example of the many skills showcasing a lot of his illustration work, storyboards, character sheets, animation keys and personal sketches. The first section of the book contains Ishizaki-Sans Illustration work, you will notice a lot of his work were used for the DVD box sets, magazine promos and online advertisements. It then moves on to his character design work showcasing a lot of character turnarounds and expression sheets. The book then goes on to show his storyboards skills giving us many samples of his storyboard sheets followed by some of his animation keys and lastly ending with a few pages of his personal sketches.
The book is mostly images with not a lot of text so people who cant read Japanese will still enjoy this book. The book is a 17 year journey of Ishizaki-Sans work showcasing his work from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, The iDOLM@STER, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. It also contains a few sketches from other shows like Top wo Nerae 2! Diebuster, Kill la Kill. and FLCL

The Final Verdict
I would definitely recommend everyone to purchase this book especially the fans of Gainax's shows. The book is currently available at most Japanese online sellers like CD Japan and Ebay.
Most of the shows animated at Gainax are really good, My personal favorites are FLCL and Tenga Toppa Gurren Lagann. FLCL 2 and 3 is currently is production and I am looking forward to watching it soon.
